WF established state-of—the-art fatty alcohol production facility based on Lurgi’s 3rd generation wax
ester technology near Mumbai in India. It is strategically located near two major ports in Mumbai. The
facility produces high quality natural saturated fatty alcohols under the registered trade name
Vegarol”. |

The facility is one of the largest in Asia for manufacturing fatty alcohols, producing numerous products
including mid-cut alcohols such as Lauryl and Myristyl, to long chain alcohols such as Cetyl, Stearyl,
Cetostearyl, and Behenyl. |

Fatty alcohols are used in various end-use applications like Home Care and Personal Care, Surfactants,
Intermediate for Pharmaceutical and Agrochemicals, Pour point regulator, Antioxidants, Cleaning
Agent, Defoamers, Detergency Booster, Lubricant, Plastic additives and Solubilizers. |
